San Bernardino National Forest
The Bear Creek Trail has a significant portion of its length in the San Bernardino National Forest. Walkers, runners and hikers enjoy the picturesque views and consistently well-maintained trail surfaces when out for a quick trek or a longer outing. Eventually, the recreation trail does become a bit strenuous over the course of its 4.5 mile stretch, as its 1,989 feet of elevation is an obvious contributing factor to its difficulty.
